Doctor Huggett is a Board-Certified Optometric Physician who has been helping patients with their vison needs for over 34 years.
Dr. Huggett is dedicated to vision rehabilitation; creating programs and prescribing prescription lenses designed to enhance cognitive processing for those with vision-related processing disorders.

I was referred to NuEyes Low Vision Solutions for a low vision examination after I had asked my ophthalmologist what else I could do to help my vision and see better. I had no idea what a low vision eye doctor was, but I was told that Dr. Huggett is the one to see. I spoke with Connie, the administrator and she mad the appointment, mailed me the paperwork that I needed to fill-out.
The low vision examination was approximately an hour and by the end of the hour Dr. Huggett knew exactly what would help me. He provided not only the exact prescription for glasses that would help me but he also wrote a prescription for an occupational therapist to provide low vision rehab. In my home.
The occupational therapist is now coming to my home twice per week for an hour and providing vision exercises that has helped me read with Dr. Huggett’s glasses so much better! The therapist will be coming to my home for a few more weeks and I am so extremely thankful for Dr. Huggett, his staff and Mindi, the therapist. for all they are doing. They are a lifesaver!
